It seems that the older, I get the faster time goes by or maybe I am better at filling my day. The whirlwind continues and I am exhausted but I also feel good.
I just finished an article on the H1N1 virus and my husband is critiquing while I get ready to go out the door for a meeting. A little bit more time tomorrow and the December's Creatively Thinking newsletter will be ready. This is a good thing since on Sunday I will start getting articles from my contributers for the GWTA newsletter which is due on Wednesday.
Well, time to run.
Have a good evening everyone and remember that a candle losing nothing by lighting another. So go out and be that candle, it can be as simple as a smile to someone on the street or opening a door.

A Whirlwind of a Summer
I cannot believe that summer is almost gone; this year it has just zipped by. It started with my son’s wedding in May and swiftly shifted to a snowball in June and July with the Washington State ARBA convention and across country trip in. As soon as we got back then it is was Fair season. We are now wrapping up our third fair this year, even though my daughter is talking about doing the State 4-H fair as well down in Puyallup in a couple weeks. The fun just keeps coming. Actually, I cannot wait until school gets back in and the routine settle down to a saner pace. The good news is that Shaklee has recently come out with some great opportunities and I am really enjoying the workshop.

Life at the Zoo

Wow, life is going by so... fast. I cannot believe that we are already looking at April, where did February and March go. Yesterday, a friend of mine and I took three teenage girls to the zoo for my daughter's 16th birthday. She love photography and this proved to be a great escape. After all, we have all have been running at top speed lately. So the five of us celebrated the three birthdays and took a day off from life. You can say that we were being like the flamingos with our escape.

Just Because it's fun and I have the rabbit habbit :-)
to the tune of “Rockin’ Robin”) - Copyright Linda Willis, 2008
He sleeps in a Burrow, all day long
Waitin’ for evening to sing his song.
“All ya little Bunnies, come dance with me,
We’ll do the Bunny-Hop ‘round the Maple tree.”
Rockin’ Rabbit, Hop, Hop, Hop,
Rockin’ Rabbit, Hop, Hop, Hop,
Ooo, Rockin’ Rabbit, you’re really gonna rock it tonight!
Together We Grow ~ (Silent Whispers)
You stand alone in the shadows and I feel you there,
Fascinated with wonder,You know that I care.
Sincerity is my Sister. And will always be.
Truth, honor and trust, Our Brothers,All three!
At times you step forward. You make yourself known.Shining with new knowledge,I see that you've grown!
Some of it you share,Always with a smile,
Patience your armor,You're content for a while.
Then time calls you back,And with silence we know,Your pathway's your own,Yet together we grow.
I know that you hear me when I'm calling your name.
Different paths we may take but the echo's the same. With knowledge there's comfort,
A gentle warm hand,The friend with a smile,Yes, we both understand.

Exta Income and Freedom by being Self - Employed
I love finally having the freedom to choose my own schedule and have an extra income in the family. I was so... scared to make the leap and so happy I did. Finally I can truly be there for my family and still able to contribute financially to the household. Every morning I take the kids to school and listen to the news on the way back. The traffic alerts are constant at that hour of the day while everyone is working their way towards whatever job they might go to. By this time I am happily smiling to myself.
You see I have been there. I remember when the 50 hour weeks were normal and all of the pressures of working for a large corporation that go with it. I remember dealing with territorial managers and I remember the stress of wondering if I was going to be the next one in the department to get a pink slip.
Tana Thank You for the freedom.
For helping me to earn some extra income and still have flexibility of schedule. First with just a few hours and then growing to where I feel there really is a balance in my life that I am happy with.
Though life is busy, it's by my choosing on where and how I spend my time.
